If your screen edits fail to save, the most common culprit is an interference issue caused by external browser factors. Specifically, third-party browser extensions (like ad blockers, privacy enhancers, or network tools) can sometimes inject code or block network requests that are essential for our editor's saving mechanism to function correctly.
To quickly diagnose and resolve this, we recommend testing the saving process in a controlled environment:
Step 1:
Open a new browser window in Incognito mode.
Step 2:
Navigate to the editor and access the screen you were trying to save.
Step 3:
Make a minor change and attempt to save the screen in the Incognito window.
If the save is successful in Incognito Mode - This confirms that an extension is blocking the save operation in your standard browser session. To fix this, you should return to your regular browser and disable your browser extensions one by one until you find the conflicting extension. Once identified, you can either keep it disabled while using the editor or adjust its settings to exclude our platform.
