Live Demo Settings

Effortlessly kickstart your journey with our beginner-friendly guides!

  • In the Share demo guide, we've discussed the method of sharing demos in the On-Demand mode, and briefly mentioned that we also have a mode for presenting the demos live - we call this feature Live Sessions.
  • Live Sessions grant you access to features not available in on-demand mode that are helpful during live presentations. Here are some characteristics of this particular presentation mode:
  1. The links and guides are hidden by default. You'll have three opportunities to change that: you can modify the defaults (refer to the Settings guide), adjust the settings in the Present the demo modal (more on that later), or toggle them on/off during the presentation.
  2. You can access Speaker Notes (refer to the Speaker Notes guide for more information).
  3. The feedback form at the end of the demo will not be shown.

To run a live session:

Step 1: Open up the Demo page

Step 2: Open up the Demo Details of the demo you wish to present

Step 3: Click on Present Live

  • Fill in the details.
  • Who are you presenting to - the email addresses of your audience, for tracking purposes
  • What's the purpose for the demo? - you can enter anything into that field - the purpose of the demo, ID number of the deal, etc.

Step 4: You can also set up some settings in advance by opening up the Advanced options menu:

  • Guides: All text guides (pop-ups and pointers) will be shown. You can change this setting later during the presentation.
  • Links: All pulsating links (hotspots) will be shown. If hidden, you will still be able to click on them. You can change this setting later during the presentation.
  • Video Narrations: All video narration recordings will be shown.
  • Navigation Toolbar: Show expanded toolbar by default. You can change this setting later during the presentation.

Step 5: Click on Start demo to start your presentation

Step 6: While presenting, you have access to a toolbar in the bottom-right corner. This toolbar enables you to navigate between screens and display links and guides. You can also access Speaker Notes by clicking on the booklet icon. For more information, please refer to the Speaker Notes guide.

Step 7: After the presentation is finished, the Live Session will be logged along with the data input into the initial form. For more information, visit the Analytics guide.
