How to Share With Presenters and Channel Partners

Effortlessly kickstart your journey with our beginner-friendly guides!

  • The Presenters and Partners sharing feature allows you to add additional users to your organization with a special usage rights. The Presenter and Partner role will only allow these users to duplicate, share, and present existing demos from the folders that you share with them. They won't be able to create new demos, view demos outside of the shared folder, customize existing demos, or view the analytics of sessions other than their own.

To create presenter or a partner user:

Step 1:First, create a folder containing the demos you want to make accessible to the Presenters or Partner users. For more information, please refer to the guide on creating folders. Here

Step 2: Click on the three-dot button on the right side of the folder tile and choose Share.

Step 3: A Presenter/Partner modal will appear. Enter the Presenter's/Partner's email address and click on Add.

Step 4: After you add your presenter’s/partner user's emails, click on Send.

Step 5: The presenter/partner user will receive an invitation email, similar to a standard Demoboost account invitation email. They will be able to log in using the provided credentials and set up their password.

Step 6: Once they log in, they will only see the demos located in the shared folder.

Step 7: When they navigate to the Demo Details page for the shared demos, they will only see the options to duplicate or preview it. They cannot share, present, or edit to the demo.

Step 8: After duplicating the demo, it will be featured on the Demos page, accompanied by the Partner badge.

Step 9: Duplicated demo details provide additional options, enabling users to either share the demo or start a live session

Step 10: When accessing sessions, you can view your presenter’s/partner's session. The session access restriction is one-way, meaning that your presenter/partner cannot see other users' sessions. However, you will be able to view all your partner's sessions.

Step 11: Back on the main account, we're able to see a copy of the partner's demo on the Demos page with the Partner badge.

Step 12: When we open sessions, we can view the partner's session. Session access restrictions are one-way: the presenter/partner cannot see sessions of other users, but other creator users can see the presenter's/partner's session.

Step 13: The primary accounts (creators) have access to all presenter/partner session analytics. For additional analytics information, please refer to the Analytics guide. Here

Step 14: To revoke a partner's access, open the presenter’s/partner's modal, click the three-dot button next to the partner's email, and select 'Remove Access.
