How to Share With Channel Partners

Effortlessly kickstart your journey with our beginner-friendly guides!

  • The Partners feature allows you to add additional users to your organization with a special role. The Partner role will only allow these users to duplicate, share, and present existing demos in the folders that you share with them. They won't be able to create new demos, view demos outside of the shared folder, customize existing demos, or view the analytics of sessions other than their own.

To create a partner user:

Step 1:First, create a folder containing the demos you want to make accessible to your Partner users. For more information, please refer to the guide on creating folders.

Step 2: Click on the three-dot button on the right side of the folder tile and choose Share.

Step 3: A Partner modal will appear. Enter the Partner's email address and click on Add.

Step 4: After you add your partner users' emails, click on Send.

Step 5: The partner user will receive an invitation email, similar to a standard Demoboost account invitation email. They will be able to log in using the provided credentials and set up their password.

Step 6: Once they log in, they will only see the demos that are in the shared folder.

Step 7: When they navigate to the Demo Details page for the shared demos, they will only see the options to duplicate or preview it. They cannot share, present, or make any edits to the demo.

Step 8: After duplicating the demo, it will be featured on the Demos page, accompanied by the Partner badge.

Step 9: Duplicated demo details provide additional options, enabling users to either share the demo or start a live session

Step 10: When accessing sessions, you can view your partner's session. The session access restriction is one-way, meaning that your partner cannot see other users' sessions. However, other users have the capability to view your partner's session.

Step 11: Back on the main account, we're able to see a copy of the partner's demo on the Demos page with the Partner badge.

Step 12: When we attend sessions, we can view the partner's session. Session access restrictions are one-way: the partner cannot see sessions of other users, but other users can see the partner's session.

Step 13: The primary accounts have access to all partner session analytics. For additional information on analytics, please refer to the Analytics guide.

Step 14: To revoke a partner's access, open the Partners modal, click the three-dot button next to the partner's email, and select 'Remove Access.
