This common issue stems from using the wrong type of link for distribution:
Preview Links (Do Not Use for Sharing): The link you use while actively editing or previewing your demo within the Demoboost editor is a session-specific URL. This "Preview" link is generated solely for the creator's current browser session and often contains secure tokens that authenticate you, the creator. These links are unique to your login and will prevent external users from accessing the demo, resulting in a "You don't have access" error.
Shared Links (Use for Distribution): To successfully share your demo with colleagues, stakeholders, or customers, you must generate a dedicated Shared Link. This link is publicly accessible and is designed to allow anyone with the URL to view the published demo content without needing to log into Demoboost.
To ensure your link opens correctly for everyone, please follow the correct procedure to generate a public link:
Step 1:
Go to the Demo’s Details Page
Step 2:
Look for the Share button associated with your demo.
Step 3:
Generate the Share Link.
Step 4:
Use this new, unique Share Link for all external distribution.
By using the correct Share Link, you guarantee that viewers have seamless and instant access to your finalized demo.
