The Challenge:
Engaging Prospects and Demonstrating Complex Integrations

GuideCX, a leading customer onboarding platform, wanted to engage prospects before they booked a demo.

They also faced challenges in showing how their platform integrates with third-party systems. Live demos were often tricky because they needed access to multiple platforms simultaneously. This made it hard to run seamless demos, and setting them up manually caused delays. Using digital adoption tools didn’t give them enough control over the demo experience either.

The Solution:
Creating Tailored Demo Tours for Each Persona with Demoboost

GuideCX teamed up with Demoboost to tackle the challenge of engaging prospects and simplifying complex demos.

This partnership allowed GuideCX to create demo tours designed for their target personas. These concise, interactive tours were featured on their homepage, making them easy for prospects to access.

GuideCX also used Demoboost to create demos that highlighted their third-party integrations. What once required extensive manual effort could now be efficiently showcased with real-life examples, making their solution easier to understand and more compelling. They also gained far more control compared to the digital adoption platforms they had used.

It was risky for us to do overlays in our live solution with digital adoption platforms. When you share it out with customers, the actual setup in their live solution might be dramatically different from the point you're trying to make. And so we switched from digital adoption platforms to Demoboost for our training. We were able to make it look real and credible, but we had so much more consistent control.

The Result:
10x Increase in Engagement and Shorter Sales Cycles

GuideCX saw a massive boost in engagement with their demo tours. When they attended Gainsight's Pulse, they wanted to make sure visitors got more than just a basic product video. They used Demoboost to offer a self-guided tour, letting people experience the product firsthand.

This approach paid off. The interactive demos drove a 10x increase in engagement, with over 10,000 views for each demo tour. Instead of just watching a video, prospects explored the product at their own pace which made a huge difference.

We wanted to ensure that when we directed people to the website they got much more than just a basic video. They were able to experience self-guided tours where they could see the product in action. This approach played a key role in helping us achieve a 10x increase in engagement

Previously, GuideCX’s majorly focused on driving prospects to booking a demo. However, they realized they were missing a middle step in the funnel. While prospects start with general information—like blogs or videos—jumping straight from there to giving their contact details for a live demo was a big leap. Many prospects were hesitant and needed proof that further exploring the product would be worth their time.

Demoboost helped GuideCX fill this gap by offering an engaging and interactive way for prospects to explore the product before committing to a demo. Moreover, GuideCX's lead volume remained solid as well, with no signs of a drop-off in bottom-funnel conversions.

When we offered a free trial, it did improve our close rates, but it also made the sales cycle much longer. That’s why we love Demoboost tours—they improve our close rates without extending the time to close. We value our prospects' time and preferences, allowing them to explore the product before getting to know us personally, and that's what these Demoboost tours allow us to do.
